Permissions
Assign capabilities under Setup → Staff → Roles for dashboard, vehicles, drivers, carriers, locations, shipments, routes, dispatch, carrier rates, reports, and settings.
REST API Quick Start
- TMS Settings → Manage API Keys — create a scoped API key (save token immediately)
- Settings — enable REST API / webhook URL as needed
- Authenticate with:

First-time setup

How to use
Shipments
- Transport → Shipments → New Shipment.
- Set client, origin/destination, carrier, vehicle, driver, dates, freight.
- Add items and stops (pickup / delivery / waypoint).
- Workflow: Draft → Confirm → Dispatch → In Transit → Delivered → Close.
- Capture POD (signature + photo) when delivering.
Dispatch
- Routes — reusable templates with sequenced stops.
- Dispatch Board — assign resources to open loads.
- Schedule Calendar — pickup and delivery calendar.

REST API
- Transport → Settings → enable REST API.
- Manage API Keys → create a key (save the token immediately).
- Authenticate with:
Authorization: Bearer {token}

Base path: /transport_management/tms_api/
Uninstall
- Deactivate Transport Management in Setup → Modules.
- Click Uninstall.
This removes all Transport Management database tables (tms_*), module settings, and files under uploads/transport_management/. Core Perfex CRM files and data are not modified.
