2. How to Use (Quick Start)
Step A — Master data
- Work Centers — create machines/lines with capacity, efficiency, setup time.
- Shifts — define working hours (Morning/Evening/Night defaults are seeded).
- Calendars — attach holidays / maintenance exceptions to plants or work centers.
- Scheduling Rules — set priority, sequencing, capacity, material, and setup rules.
Step B — Demand & MRP
- Create a Forecast with item/period demand lines.
- Build an MPS (Master Production Schedule) from forecast or manual firm quantities.
- Run MRP to explode BOMs, net inventory, and generate planned orders.
- Review Planned Orders and release to Manufacturing work orders when ready.
Step C — Scheduling
- Open Auto-Schedule and run a finite-capacity schedule (forward/backward).
- Review the Gantt timeline; resolve conflicts with manual reschedule if needed.
- Check Capacity Load for overload days and under-utilized centers.
Step D — What-if & analytics
- Create What-If Scenarios (baseline vs alternative / setup-optimized).
- Run Bottleneck Analysis to find constraint work centers.
- Use Analytics for OTD, utilization, schedule adherence; export CSV/PDF; save KPI snapshots.
Step E — Integration (optional)
- Enable Manufacturing sync in Integration / Settings (auto-schedule on WO approval).
- Create API Keys if MES/ERP needs REST access to schedule/capacity/reservations.

6. Uninstall
- Deactivate — hides the module; keeps all data.
- Uninstall — drops all
{prefix}aps_*tables, removesadvanced_aps_*/aps_*options, and deletesuploads/advanced_aps/if present.
Back up the database before uninstalling. Uninstall is destructive and cannot be undone.
